Resolving workplace issues. That's what we do.

discrimination in the workplace

It is unlawful to discriminate against people at work because of their age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.

Both employers and employees can be held responsible for their actions if they discriminate against a person.

There are different types of unlawful discrimination and they are:

  • Direct discrimination
  • Indirect discrimination
  • Discrimination arising from disability
  • Gender reassignment discrimination
  • Pregnancy and maternity discrimination
  • Harassment
  • Victimisation
  • Failure to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people

If you believe you have been treated less favourably at work and subjected to discrimination because of one of these protected characteristics then we can advise you of your rights and the options available to you.

We will meet with you to discuss your problem and advise you of all the options available.  We offer fixed fees so that you can be clear on costs.
